Sooo the bistro I work at is still in the opening stages and we haven’t yet gotten the supplies together for espresso beverages yet. I used to work as a barista, so I’ve been delegated the task of getting this together. The part I’m having trouble with is selecting a company to supply our espresso beans, any suggestions? I’m kind of a coffee snob, but the drip coffee that’s served at the restaurant comes in pre-ground bags (it hurts me if I think about it too much) so I guess top-tier gourmet beans aren’t a requisite. Also, should I take the cheap route and buy pre-ground or invest in a decent grinder? How quickly does the quality of pre-ground coffee deteriorate? I’d honestly like to buy from a local roaster (I live in NE OK), but since I probably won’t be able to eke the money out of my boss for high-quality beans, I’m okay with ordering out-of-state.

i have a guest from the US coming to stay with me -i know he only likes fresh ground coffee-but,me being a coffee hater,knows nothing about the fine art of coffee making..where can i buy whole coffee beans,and a grinder? supermarkets only seem to sell instant .I really want to make him feel at home,and surprise him with this.

These chefs came in and cooked it for us. They said it was called fushwata[well that's how it was pronounced] i loved it so much!!
it consited of
rice
a gravy with beans and pork[they said african slaves made this because they would cook down the other parts of pork and make this]
they served it with chopped chicken with some of the gravy stuff, it was so good
so my question is where can i find the recipe for these things because when i type it into google it’s spelled wrong.
